A set of ebonised and gilt chairs in the aesthetic movement style c1880. Finely turned frame in the style and quality of Gillows but no makers stamp. Although delicate and fine in construction this set is completely solid and strong with only scratches and scuffs commensurate with age. Rewebbed with original seatpads and recovered in "Antique tulip" velvet by Linwood fabrics. Seat height 50cm
